Where do your bagels come from?

Our bagels are baked fresh every morning at our Campus West location. Our South Store doesn't have an oven yet, so we drive them over fresh out of the oven at the crack of dawn!

How fresh are your bagels?

Depends on the time of day. If you get to the shop when we open, they were just baked! At the end of the day, we bag up all of the leftovers to sell at a discount the next morning.

How long do your bagels last once they are baked?

If you leave them sitting on the counter or in the pantry, you're looking at about five days max. If you stick the bagels in the fridge, they'll be good for about ten days. In the freezer, our bagels will be great up to about two months. We recommended zapping them in the microwave for a few seconds to soften them before you cut them, no matter how you store them.

Where do you get your cream cheese?

All of our cream cheeses begin life as a block of plain-looking Neufchatel, which has 33% less fat then ordinary cream cheese. Then we lovingly blend them in to the thirteen flavors we call our own.

Can I call in an order to pick up later?

Oh, but of course! Just remember that we might be super busy when you call or show up. We always move call-in orders to the head of the class, but if there's a line out the door when you get there, your order might not be ready to go. A good rule of thumb: call at least fifteen minutes before you plan to show up for a small order (a sandwich or three). The bigger the order, the more time we'll probably need.

I left a voice mail and you didn't have my order ready! Why?

When we get busy, we're not the best at checking phone messages. To make sure we get your order, be it a soon-to-pick-up or a big order for later, please make sure you talk to one of our employees!

Do you
deliver?


Well, kind of. We don't run a normal, on-call delivery service like a pizza place, but if you have a reoccurring order (daily, weekly, you name it) we offer two different options: we can drop your order off at 5 a.m. in our stylish bagel truck or, for a small fee, get it there with pedal-power via Rob's Bike Courier Service! If you'd like to get on our weekly schedule, call our Campus West store at (970) 482-6981.

cater?

Oh, yeah! We can do weddings, birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, you name it! Just please give us no less than 48 hours notice for catering orders.

What do I need to do to get more then two dozen bagels?

Please, for the love of all that is round and holey, give us at least 24 hours notice. Since neither store has "bake-on-demand" capability, we need that time to prepare your order.

Last time I stopped in, you were out of my favorite topping or bagel. What gives?

We promise we didn't do it to spite you. Some of our toppings are more popular than others and we run out fast, no matter how much we start out with. Other times those same toppings don't sell at all! We do our best to have everything in stock, at its freshest, every time, but it's not always possible. As for bagel selection, the earlier you come in the more likely we are to have what you want. But don't forget: there's a good chance the guy in line ahead of you bought the last of the bagel that you wanted. Can you blame him?

How can I make sure that what I want is there?

Easy! You're more than welcome to call us before you come in to make sure we have what you want. Feel free to place a pick-up order at that time. Or give us a call the day before you want to stop in and we'll make sure we have it!

I have a community event coming up. Can I get a donation?

Since we are part of the community, we're more than happy to help out by giving you our day old bagels. But, since we're giving them for free, we can't guarantee how many bagels we're going to have for you. It could be six bagels or six dozen. If you need a guaranteed amount, contact us and we'll see what we can do!

Are you
hiring?

Working at RMBW is like being part of a family. Kind of like the Mafia: once you get in, it's hard to get out. Not that you'll end up in cement shoes or anything. We just all love our jobs so much no one wants to leave! We are always excepting applications, though, in case someone does leave us.
